This afternoon NYC media and tastemakers joined “Real Housewives of Atlanta’s” Cynthia Bailey and celebrity stylist Johnny Wright for the Optimum Salon Haircare AMLA Legend Rejuvenating Ritual Launch at AIRE Ancient Baths in Manhattan. At the intimate celebration we learned that SoftSheen-Carson Laboratories, the #1 ethnic hair care brand in the world, has created an innovative new relaxer and maintenance line designed to rejuvenate the hair through it’s key ingredient: Amla Oil. Amla Oil has been used for thousands of years by Indian women as a natural hair conditioner, and includes vitamin C, proteins, minerals, and anti-oxidants. I can personally attest to the strengthening and silkening qualites of Amla Oil as I’ve been using it for the past 7 years in my own Henna treatments that I blend at home!
I enjoyed talking beauty and fashion with friend to the blog Cynthia, who swears by the Billion Hair Potion, a hair and scalp serum that promotes thicker, fuller hair. We also chatted about her personal style and the Mercedez-Benz Fashion Week shows she’s looking forward to while in town (especially Zang Toi and J. Loren ). Cynthia noted that she loves the up-and-coming designers, particularly before they completely blow up and everyone is wearing them. Some of her other favorite, go-to designers are Michael Kors, Donna Karan, and Diane von Furstenberg.
Cynthia celebrated the product launch in the
$480 now $360 Kay Unger Metallic Dance Dress in smoke blush. The pleated A-line frock features a round neckline, banded waist, and open V-back. Black stockings with Ron Donovan black pumps and stacked beaded bangles from Mal’s Custom Jewelry completed her look.
The new Optimum AMLA Legend Rejuvenating Ritual consists of six products, all infused with Amla Oil, and is available at Amazon.com and in stores nationwide. Check out the gallery below for more images from the Optimum Salon Haircare AMLA Legend Rejuvenating Ritual Launch Event:
