Elle Varner Fashion Round-Up

Elle Varner Fashion Round-Up

The daughter of two songwriters, 22-year-old Elle Varner spent much of her childhood immersed in the world of music. Following in her parents footsteps, she now plays the piano, flute, and guitar and is a singer/songwriter herself. In addition to her indisputable musical talents she’s also proven herself to be quite the fashionista. She’s a fan of African-inspired prints and I love her fun, quirky style and generous use of color.  Let’s take a look at some of Elle’s looks over the span of her blossoming musical career.

Elle Varner rocked the Indie Brooklyn-based line EKINEYO‘s Sheer Fringe Tank  and tribal print leggings when she performed at the Black Girls Rock Awards Show.  She completed the look with a matching hairbow and Giuseppe Zanotti color-block  platforms.

She was once again spotted in EKINEYO leggings in the video for her strong, bluesy remix of the J. Cole/Miguel song, “All I Want is Him.”

She wore the tribal print Teacup mini-dress by Patricia Field with a playful orange blazer and gold booties in her debut video “Only Wanna Give it to You.”

In addition to rocking Patricia Field’s Teacup mini-dress she also wore one of Field’s Keith Haring Girls’ Baby Tee for her video debut.

  6. Every time I see that Only Wanna Give it to You video I fall in love with that Patricia Fields dress. However, the Fashion Bomb Daily did a post on these designers that make their clothes out of kinte cloth prints and I thought that’s who the dress was made by.
