Marlo Hampton’s Sequined Harem Pants & Crystal Headband at Grand Hustle/Grey Goose Dinner

This weekend “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” besties,  NeNe Leakes, Cynthia Bailey, and Marlo Hampton, were in attendance at the dinner and toast of music execs Bu Thiam and Jason Geter at the Mandarin Oriental hotel in Atlanta.  While at the event they chopped it up with Vh1’s “Love & Hip Hop” producer Mona Scott Young, who happened to be in town for the “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” Viewing Party.”

Marlo stunned in an ivory La Perla Silk Cami Top [$335] that she paired with green Ashish Sequined Silk Pants [$770].  Waist-length, wavy tresses with a Deepa Gurnani Crystal Headband [$150], a Chanel hobo bag, and Christian Louboutin Lipsinka Python Pumps [$1,295] completed her look. She is styled by Daniel Hawkins.

  1. Marlo looks way too cute in that outfit! Those pants — I die!

@tammy m i love jcrew.Their clothes looks a lot better than some of the clothes i have seen at saks and neimans. I do like marlo’s style but it is very predictable. This outfit looks like halloween dress up to me. Beyonce wears high end and low end clothes sometimes and she is loaded. Just saying and still looks great.

I definitely have to disagree on lack of creativity, just because a piece is high-end and tailored. We have all seen plenty of celebrities in expensive designer clothes that they have not pulled off well.

Being stylish and chic, is not an easy feat despite the effortless end result. I have seen items from h&m look equally horrible, on women that have no clue on what to do.

I am glad that Marlo (a self confessed label whore) rocks her runway ready frocks proud. I say leave the j. Crew mixed with Givenchy to our equally fly and fab first lady, Michelle (a self confessed fan of high-low mix).

I’d like to see her in some low end pieces and still look good…. is easy to look great when you are constantly clad in high-end, amazingly cut pieces. where is the creativity in that! A look made out of high-low is a lot more interesting and harder to pull.
