Malaysia Pargo’s Three Beats Jewelry Launch Fashion Roundup – Part 2 of 3

After many months of planning, Basketball Wives L.A. star Malaysia Pargo and her husband Jannero debuted her Three Beats Jewelry Line at a private launch party that included the likes of cast-mate Imani Showalter, former NBA star Antoine Walker, Hawks star Joe Johnson, NBA wife and author Audrey Griffin, Dallas Mavericks star Shawn Marion, former Chiacago Bears star Jerry Azumah, Jason Arasheben (“Jason the Jeweler” of Beverly Hills), celebrity makeup artist Tia Dantzler, and many more.

Party guests showed up and showed out in all sorts of fabulous looks from Diane von Furstenberg to LuLu’s – and I loved them all!  Throughout the evening I snapped photos of some of my fav looks and below I’ve shared some of those looks along with a fashion breakdown, beginning with the guest of honor.  In true fashionista form, Malaysia made two outfit changes:

Look 1

She entered the party in a modified Stella McCartney knit dress from the Fall/Winter RTW 2012 collection.

I really love the feminine silhouette of this dress, and it was extremely flattering on Malaysia’s petite figure.  The midi-length dress features long sheer sleeves and swirl sheer cutouts.

Malaysia informed me that her pink sparkly earrings were a $5 “bargain find” from a local boutique.  Amaze!  (Don’t you  love how she is so willing to mix and match super high and low end pieces to create a bomb finished product?  More about that in Part 3 of this series – our interview ).

Malaysia finished the look with Christian Louboutin Rolando Suede Hidden-Platform Pumps in pink.

Look 2

Malaysia stunned us all the second half of the evening when she re-entered the party in this glamorous floor-skimming, two-piece vintage gown in rich shades of wine, gold, orange, and blue.  She was the picture of elegance as she worked the room greeting guests.

The ensemble features a sleeveless tiered cropped top with a glamorous high-waisted skirt.  I am living for that thigh-high split!  Over-sized sparkling gold hoops (the same “bargain-find” earrings as the pink ones above) and a deep berry lip completed her look.  The outfit had an Egyptian/Middle Eastern feel to it.  The fun part? Malaysia told me she found the outfit at Deliciously Vintage, an upscale vintage boutique in Chicago.

She styled the vintage gown with Christian Louboutin 123 Double Platform Sandals Golden, which set off the shimmering gold flecks in the dress perfectly.

Here are a few more of my fav looks for the evening!

Imani Showalter came out to support her girl wearing a body-con bronze and black dress from ASOS that she paired with Yves Saint Laurent heels and gold hoop earrings by Simone I. Smith (L.L. Cool J’s wife).

I donned a pale lavender sheath dress by Tibi that features stripes and a trompe d’oeil lace print.  I finished my look with a vintage Chanel bag, 5-strand pearl bracelet, and black strappy sandals.

Audrey Griffin kept it classic and pretty in an Alice + Olivia sleeveless cowl neck dress (circa 2006).  She styled the look with Christian Louboutin Miss Fast Plato 120 booties, a Chanel bracelet, and Louis Vuitton 2011 Ornate Monogram Speedy.

Lisa Arasheben, wife of “Jason the Jeweler,” was by her husband’s side throughout the event, looking fabulous in a form-fitting black frock from Stop Staring.  I just love Stop Staring’s ‘40s and ’50s inspired vintage clothing, and actually own a couple of dresses from there as well.  Very hot look for you, Lisa!

Krystal Jackson (Malaysia’s sister) and costume/wardrobe designer Kasey Bazil were also in attendance at the launch.  Krystal rocked it out in a super cute black and chocolate mini-dress by Kitson and black Christian Louboutin heels.  Kasey was gorgeous in a green Diane von Furstenberg dress that she styled with black YSL heels.

I loved Malaysia’s PR coordinator, Chanele Newton’s, ensemble from head to toe!  What appeared to be a “little black dress” was actually a Forever 21 lace top and peplum skirt from Bebe – fierce!  She styled the look with gold jewelry, black tights, and Michael Kors heels.

So who wore your favorite look for the evening?
