Taraji P. Henson for YRB

Academy Award-nominated actress Taraji P. Henson is fierce in YRB Magazine’s Fall Fashion Issue. The Washington, D.C. native chats with YRB about Tyrese and their rumored relationship, the struggles Black actors face, and why she’s glad she didn’t take home an Oscar for “The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button.”

Like many of us, I’m sure, I’ve been a Taraji-fan since her “Baby Boy” days, and it’s been truly inspiring watching her growth as an actress over the years.  I can’t wait to watch Taraji again on the small screen in her new CBS crime drama “Person of Interest.”

But first… how amazing does she look in this fashion spread?!

I didn’t even recognize her. These photos are amazing.

  2. Dang! They glammed her all the way up! And I agree Yakini, that is the BEST I have EVER seen her look. Because she’s starting to look old in the face to me.

  3. Talk about FEIRCE. Wowsa! And those earrings are speaking to me right now. I’ve loved watching her grow as an actress. I remember seeing her picture for a promotion of “I Can Do Bad All By Myself” and I was like, “Is that the same chick from ‘Baby Boy’?” LOL. She really has grown and is coming into her own and it’s great and inspiring to see that.

  4. she looks GOREOUS…seriously.

Yeah, she really does look good – perhaps the best I’ve ever seen her look.
So proud of her – she’s come a long way since “Baby Boy” and “Hustle and Flow.” Nothing at all wrong with those movies (I enjoyed both), but she has come far…
