L’Oreal Paris Voluminous False Fiber Lash Review

L’Oreal Paris Voluminous False Fiber Lash Review

There are a few essential items every girl should have in her beauty case: lip gloss, a great liner, and mascara, to name just a few.  My lashes are relatively short with no real curl to them at all, so I’ve tried out many mascaras over the years. Yet, I’ve never settled on any one staple brand because they all seem to perform similarly for me – cute, but nothing to write home about.  As such, my interest was piqued when the Glam Network sent over the newest mascara from L’Oreal Paris to try.  Could this be “the one,” I wondered?  With a dinner date with friends coming up this weekend I was eager to try out my new Voluminous False Fiber Lash and see if it made any difference.

  • sculpting fiber formula adheres to lashes for a volumized, sculpted lash effect
  • lashes appear fuller, longer, sculpted, and curled at every angle
  • clump-free, flake-free, smudge-free, fragrance-free

My Thoughts

As I mentioned above, I’ve used dozens of mascara brands from $4 drug store to $35 department store and regardless of the price this ranks high at the top for me! I’m not sure whether it’s the brush or the actual mascara that makes the difference, but the wand seemed to get every single lash without clumping.  The brush has short bristles packed closely together all around the wand and does a nice job of distributing and separating the lashes.  The brush was a bit large for me, making it a little hard to yield, but I made it work and my lashes look amazing!  The product definitely did what I wanted it to, which was mainly to volumize and lengthen a little.  The smell is non-descript, and the mascara washed off easily and without drama.  I will totally be buying this again when it runs out!

mm, i think that actually makes your lashes look really good, if they aren’t always curly like that. oh and next time, if you do a mascara review, try doing it in front of a white background like a wall, so we can see better 😀

      Thanks boo!
Great idea to take against a white wall! Because i really was struggling to take pics at various angles to capture the effect of the mascara. I should have thought of that!

  2. The only mascara that works for me is Covergirl Lash Blast or good ol Maybelline Great Lash. They even have one w/ a fat brush that does a great job. Lately, I’d just rather go get lash extensions but on. They last 3 weeks. But this looks like it’s worth a try

Ive never been good at wearing falsies, but they sure do look good!

    • Bika says:

Hey do lash extensions feel like you are wearing falsies? Or you can’t really tell if you run your fingers over them? I’ve always wondered about those…

      • yakini says:

I’ve never worn lash extensions before, so not sure.
You know this is a mascara I’ve reviewed, right? Not extensions. (Or were you just asking in general?)

      • Bika..to respond to you..I never wore lash extensions on the regular before (like I do now), but I REALLY had to get used to it. I was constantly blinking but after a while forgot they were on. I like to get mine very short and natural.

        • yakini says:

How long can you keep them on? Do they feel like false lashes? LOL, Ive got so many questions. Never even heard of lash extensions. *smh*

          • Bika says:

lol yea, i was originally asking Mocha because she mentioned she wears them. Really? They always have signs out in front of asian nail salons, “eye extensions” or “lash extensions.” I might have to try some!

  3. Like you, I have short lashes and have tried many mascaras. I love Maybellene’s Greatest Lash (that was my “starter” mascara when I was 19) and also their XXL. I’ll have to try this one too.
