Beyonce “Party” Video Fashion Round-Up

Beyonce “Party” Video Fashion Round-Up

I’ve been eagerly awaiting Beyonce’s “Party” video and it finally dropped today.  The song is dope and the 80s-themed video so colorful and fun, with cameos by her homegirl Kelly Rowland and sis Solange!  The video features Bey surrounded by friends in a trailer park backyard setting – hair, makeup, and fashion are big and gaudy and loud – and I love it!

The video is directed by Alan Ferguson (Solange’s boyfriend) and my only beef is that J. Cole has replaced Andre 3000 in the remix and video.  This is devastating for me as I’d rather see my boo Andre any day over some daggone J. Cole.  *smh*  Redic. But that’s neither here nor there.

So let’s talk about Beyonce’s fashion game in the video.  HOT!!! We’ll start with a break-down of her shoes:

In this scene she is wearing a cute vintage-style bikini with the Christian Dior Spring/Summer 2011 Tahiti Pumps, $1,550

Later Beyonce relaxes in a lounge chair in a pair of modified Rodarte Hand Beaded Calf Hair Platform booties in military green with black and white beading [Ooh Lala Blog]

Bey with J. Cole rocking printed leggings with Christian Louboutin Blue Yellow Patent Leather Slingbacks, $820.00

I also LOVED all the colorful couture sprinkled throughout the video!  The Fashion Bomb Daily did a brilliant job of breaking down a few of Bey and company’s looks:

D & G Spring 2011 Gingham Shorts

Modified Louis Vuitton Fall 2011

Wildfox Couture Summer Ice Cream Baggy Boy Tank, $51

Custom Givenchy by Riccardo Tisci Fall 2011

Solange in Topshop Moto Flag Printed Hotpants, $70

Kelly in Louis Vuitton Spring 2011 Runway

Haven’t seen the video yet? You can check it out here!

  1. No Andre? Ugh…that video leaves a SOUR taste in my mouth. And those gingham shorts look like a baby diaper cover. LMAO!
