Rihanna in Gareth Pugh for Nicki Minaj’s “Fly”

After Nicki Minaj’s “Fly” video debuted at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards a couple weeks back everyone was buzzing about the long-sleeved, white geometric print dress Rihanna wore.  Apparently, the tunic turned mini-dress is from the Gareth Pugh Spring 2011 Collection, and only available in select stores, including Bergdorf Goodman. I think the pale hues of the dress are gorgeous against Rihanna’s flaming red tresses, and I especially like how the silvery and white color palette accentuates the sinewy curves of her figure – very futuristic, mod sexy.
Would you wear this Gareth Pugh ensemble as a 2-piece outfit, or would you lose the pants and rock it as a dress a la RiRi?

  1. Yes, it is very futuristic. I love a good mini-dress and she is totally working that one. Nicki usually steals the spotlight with her creative choices and all, but Rihanna is certainly holding it down too.

I actually can’t take my eyes of Nicki.

  3. She def made it way hotter than the “runway” look. Minus the pants, you can def wear that during cocktail hour or at the club. She looks great..

Now Nicki’s leopard hair???? Not so much. LOL

  4. Definitely lose the pants. Even though Rih could’ve worn the pants and still made it look hot.
