Amber Rose in Nonterah & KNAF Couture at Vodafone 020 Live Concert

When video vixen turned entrepreneur Amber Rose visited Ghana last week she hosted Vodafone 020 Live Concert, a popular music fest featuring the best of American, Nigerian, and Ghanaian artists.  She surprised the crowd by appearing on stage in several creations by African fashion designers throughout the night.

Prior to her trip Amber posted on Twitter that Ghanaian/African designers interested in dressing her on the big night should get in touch with her ahead of the concert, and Kayda Nana Afriyie Frimpong of KNAF Couture and Ben Nonterah of Nonterah were the lucky ones chosen.  Nonterah  designs are handmade, using a mix of local and other natural fabrics, ensuring that no two items of clothing is the same.  KNAF Couture creates highly stylish, custom-made, and original clothes designed to accentuate the female figure. I think Amber looks lovely in these native African designs.  Frankly, it’s nice to see her covered up and looking demure – it’s a good look for her, I think.

I love the three middle ones!
the red patterned one is super hot. that jumpsuit is very fly too! And the straight neckline on the dress is super chic!

  2. That red joint…FEELING IT! And I’d like the first dress more if the skirt was just pencil and not trumpet.

Ha! Big surprise that the red number is your fav. 😉

It would be super cute slim all the way down, but I think the fish-tail bottom is more traditional of African fashion (from what I’ve seen, anyway).

  3. I like all the outfits on her.
